Cancel culture makes it worse.

Been thinking about woke cancel culture and the resulting self censorship.

Back in the good old days, I could put an opinion on the internet and have it agreed with, or disagreed with, and the flaws in it pointed out. Not always pleasant, and sometimes would result in me feeling bad, but I could think about it, see if the points raised had merit, and modify my views or opinion.

But now, since the threats of being doxed, or canceled, I self censor; I don't put many opinions on the internet. The result is that if any of my opinions are wrong, they are not being challenged, and I can continue to silently seethe about my perceived injustices, but I am sure as hell not going to tell them and engage in any kind of actual discussion as it could result in a ban, doxing, or even loss of livelihoods.

So well done wokests, peoples bad or incorrect views are going unchallenged. You have shut down discussion in your fervour to rid the world of people you disagree with, but they are still there, and their views are now even harder to challenge and change.
